Os alunos do projeto AQUA : Saúde Cidadã, junto com o professor Wellington Genuíno AQUA, promoveram ações de conscientização na comunidade onde a escola estadual está inserida, no combate a gripe suína ( H1N1)

The students of the AQUA: Saúde Cidadã project, together with professor Wellington Genuíno AQUA, promoted awareness actions in the community where the state school is located, in the fight against swine flu (H1N1)

(2008) PROJETO AQUA :O NOSSO BAIRRO PEDE SOCORRO!

Cansado do descaso das autoridades e com a falta de educação de alguns munícipes que jogam lixo nas ruas, nos bueiros e caneletas.

O professor Wellington Genuíno Dourado, resolveu elaborar um plano para enfrentar os alagamentos.

Inicialmente o professor Wellington Genuino lançou a proposta do projeto que passou a ser chamado de AQUA : o nosso bairro pede socorro!

A idéia foi levada ao conhecimento dos alunos que prontamente abraçaram-na.

Professores e direção também apoiaram a iniciativa dando suas respectivas contribuições para o desenvolvimento do projeto.

Resultados:

*Foi produzido um blog www.projetoaqua.blogspot.com.

Contendo fotos,videos e resultados do projeto, sendo mostrado aos educandos,comunidade e Poder Público.

*Fomos pioneiros na utilzação do celular como material didático nas pesquisas de campo junto a comunidade e convertendo seus vídeos e fotos para exibição em sala de aula ou colocação em blogs.

*Utilização em sala de aula dos dados coletados na comunidade

*Prefeitura em Obras onde o Projeto Aqua atua

*Maior integração escola, comunidade e Poder Público

*O Projeto Aqua continua em andamento, promovendo ações para o desenvolvimento da comunidade e meio ambiente.

Alguns exemplos:

*Campanha permanete de conscientização da comunidade para que não joguem lixo nas ruas,bueiros, canaletas e preserve as lagoas,pois cuidando do meio ambiente estão fazendo sua parte para minimizar os alagamentos no bairro.

*Participando de reuniões com a Prefeitura de Olinda junto com a comunidade para "fiscalizar" as obras do PROMETROPOLE / PAC (Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento) do Governo Federal, que estão sendo realizadas junto com a prefeirura em nosso bairro,para que essas melhorias não "agridam" o meio ambiente e a dignidade de nossos moradoras com construções inadequadas.

*Campanhas de coleta de dados para diagnóstico do Bairro,

RESUMO:

O PROJETO AQUA : O NOSSO BAIRRO PEDE SOCORRO ! : COLETA DADOS E BUSCA SOLUÇÕES PARA AS QUESTÕES AMBIENTAIS E SOCIAIS , MELHORANDO A QUALIDADE DE VIDA DA COMUNIDADE ONDE A ESCOLA ESTÁ INSERIDA,CRIANDO UM CENSO CRÍTICO NOS ALUNOS DA MESMA, PREPARANDO-OS PARA A 'VIDA' , FAZENDO A INTEGRAÇÃO ESCOLA, COMUNIDADE E PODER PÚBLICO.

Nas pesquisas de campo e entrevistas com moradores,descobrimos que nossas três lagoas e o enorme canal da malária, foram invadidos pelo lixo jogado pelos moradores, e pelo aterro( invasão) desordenada da comunidade para construção de moradias no local, e que após pesquisas em livros e na internet,foi constatado que se nossas lagoas,canais e galerias estivessem "limpas", reduziriam ou até sanariam os problemas de alagamento no bairro. Foram montadas equipes de alunos para conscientização dos moradores com panfletagens, palestras com a prefeitura,com o PAC (Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento) do governo federal através do `Programa Prometrópolis que irá beneficiar nosso bairro com investimento de milhares de dólares.

Tired of the carelessness of the authorities and the lack of education of some citizens who throw garbage on the streets, in manholes and caneletas.

Professor Wellington Genuíno Dourado decided to develop a plan to face the floods.

Initially, Professor Wellington Genuino launched the project proposal that came to be called AQUA: our neighborhood calls for help!

The idea was brought to the attention of the students who promptly embraced it.

Teachers and management also supported the initiative by making their respective contributions to the development of the project.

Results:

* A blog www.projetoaqua.blogspot.com was produced.

Containing photos, videos and results of the project, being shown to students, community and public authorities.

* We were pioneers in using cell phones as teaching material in field research with the community and converting their videos and photos for viewing in the classroom or posting on blogs.

* Use in the classroom of data collected in the community

* City Hall in Works where the Aqua Project operates

* Greater integration of school, community and public authorities

* The Aqua Project is still ongoing, promoting actions for the development of the community and the environment.

Some examples:

* Permanent community awareness campaign so that they do not throw garbage on the streets, culverts, channels and preserve the lagoons, because taking care of the environment they are doing their part to minimize flooding in the neighborhood.

* Participating in meetings with the Olinda City Hall together with the community to "inspect" the works of the PROMETROPOLE / PAC (Growth Acceleration Program) of the Federal Government, which are being carried out together with the prefecture in our neighborhood, so that these improvements they do not "harm" the environment and the dignity of our residents with inadequate constructions.

ABSTRACT:

THE AQUA PROJECT: OUR NEIGHBORHOOD ASKS FOR HELP! : DATA COLLECTION AND SEARCH SOLUTIONS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES, IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE COMMUNITY WHERE THE SCHOOL IS INSERTED, CREATING A CRITICAL CENSUS IN THE STUDENTS OF THE SAME, PREPARING THEM FOR 'LIFE', MAKING SCHOOL INTEGRATION, COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC POWER.

In field surveys and interviews with residents, we found that our three lagoons and the huge malaria channel were invaded by the garbage dumped by the residents, and by the disorderly landfill (invasion) of the community for housing construction on the site, and that after research in books and on the internet, it was found that if our ponds, canals and galleries were "clean", they would reduce or even solve the flooding problems in the neighborhood. Teams of students were assembled to raise awareness among residents with leaflets, lectures with the city government, with the PAC (Growth Acceleration Program) of the federal government through the `Prometrópolis Program that will benefit our neighborhood with an investment of thousands of dollars.
